Many of you are familiar with Shark Week on the Discovery Channel, this year our Slaptastic friends threw a Shark party to celebrate.  In true Spatula Slap fashion, costumes were encouraged as well as themed snacks!  Dressed as Lifeguards, Ocean Waves, Seaweed, and unsuspecting Swimmers and Seals we gorged on snacks from “Shark Teeth” (recipe coming soon!) to fresh filleted fish, and quenched our thirst with “Blood” (wine), and of course Land Shark beer.

This ocean wave decided to contribute to the tasty morsels with some shark bait…aka a yummy rolled salmon spread.  When you mix light salmon with cream cheese, lemon juice, and spicy horseradish and roll in pecans and fresh parsley you get a mouthwatering delight sure to satiate any bloodthirsty shark!  Check out This Recipe
