Banana bread. I’m pretty sure you can eat it at or for every meal. For breakfast with some goat cheese and fresh fruit. For lunch grilled with some PB and jelly. For dinner…ok maybe for desert. Now we’re talking. I always buy a bunch of bananas with good intentions to finish them by the end of the week. Then, no matter how green those nanners are at the start there always seems to be at least one that gets too brown and squishy, so i throw that baby in the freezer for a rainy day. Then eventually when I have 3 or 4…and it’s a rainy day I bust out the spatula and mix up a warm lovely loaf. I can’t even tell you how easy it is…no matter how lazy I might be.
You like nuts you say? I mean who doesn’t (besides those with nut allergies). Add some texture to your loaf with sliced almonds, pecans, walnuts, or all three. Go CRAZY! Now whip out your mashing skills (no mixer required) and tantalize your roommates and neighbors with the soft sweet smell of baking banana bread wafting through your kitchen and down the street. For an extra sensual experience dab a lil’ of that vanilla on your wrist and behind your ears to tempt the sweetie in your life. I serve you the recipe for this treat…click HERE BANANA BRAIN!
